About Us:
Abi's Vegetables, Jams & Chutneys epitomises our commitment to quality. Situated in the Penwith Peninsula, nestled between Penzance and Morvah in Cornwall, we collaborate with local arable farmers and reputable  wholesalers to deliver the freshest, locally sourced vegetables and British produce to farmers' markets throughout the region.

Introducing Our Team

Meg is the founder of the Jam & Chutney brand. She trained as a chef in the 1990s and spent a decade working in the culinary industry. After meeting Rob, she shifted her focus to family life. In 2022, when their youngest daughter, Abi,        required funding for her athletics, Meg made a batch of cherry jam and plum chutney, which she offered in exchange for donations. This initiative led to the establishment of the brand. Currently, the range features nine different chutneys and nine varieties of jams. All products are homemade in small batches in Meg's kitchen, and they contain no added preservatives. Occasionally, Rob, who manages the vegetable aspect of the business, assists in the production process.

The Vegetable Component of the Business

Rob has more than 20 years of experience in the retail sector, contributing to our objective of    supporting local farmers by ensuring they           receive fair compensation for their produce. At Abi's, we emphasise the importance of quality, freshness, and flavour, in contrast to mass -produced items that are often plastic-wrapped and stored in large refrigeration units before reaching consumers.

Our commitment is to establish reliable relationships with both farmers and customers, guaranteeing that you access the finest offerings from local agriculture.
